Building a community project at home

During this step, we invite you to take into consideration your local context and imagine a community project you would want to develop. Once you have reflected and visualized your ideas, we want you to create a short project proposal that puts into practice one of the methodologies presented in previous steps.Your project proposal should not exceed 1200 characters and include:

  • a title
  • main objective
  • proposal

Your proposal needs to include:

  1. Clearly identified and described target audience
  2. Resources needed, people, infrastructure, equipment
  3. Monitoring and evaluation tools
  4. Risks and opportunities
  5. Ethical considerations

Assignment Guidelines

The reviewers will be asked to give you feedback on the following aspects of your assignment, so you should consider these when writing:

  • What are you trying to achieve with this project? Who is benefitting and how?
  • What are you going to do? How are you going to involve community members in every step of the way?
  • How are you planning to take care of participants? What ethical considerations will you include so that you can respect the dignity of and do no harm to participants?
